The title is a reference to Shepard (your character in Mass Effect) watching a movie with the potential romance interest, a Quarian named "Tali'Zorah vas Normandy" in the DLC for ME3 "Citadel DLC" Shepard makes a comment about the movie, saying "You watch this a lot... the lovers from two different worlds?"

Blake (RWBY) having a romantic reveal of a Quarian (Mass Effect). Quarians need to wear those suits because of a very weak immune system. Removing the mask is a huge risk, possibly fatal if they aren't careful, but clearly they're willing to take that risk.
