Those kinds of people arenβt in the club, they think they are... but the βWhiterose Sanctuaryβ on Discord are filled with incredibly nice and respectful shippers, so try not to sound so general about it XD

You can also blame the "members" for tormenting LC and RG fans to the point of having a siege mentality evolve within.
Mostly cause I don't see them like that and that M. Oum wanted team RWBY to be a sisterhood not lovers.

Stop acting like every member is like that, not every WR shipper torments LC and RG fans, there are WR shippers that do that, but every ship has those people, I bet even RG have those kinds of shippers... how would you feel if I acted like every RG fan did that?

Its just previous interactions have soured the image.

Its how they come off to others. Some are polite, some friendly, some are not so nice.
Its the bad apples that ruin it for the good ones. Its taint by proxy.
Its a common phenomenon in politics and social dynamics.
Ships have a way of escalating very quickly and people make rash decisions that they regret later.
I got nothing against them, really.Β
Just tired of being viewed with contempt and revulsion for being a fan of small ship.
That is correct that all ships have those members. Again, its the bad apple scenario, while 95% of WR may be super chill and nice, but
its the 5% that create strife with other ships which lead to unwarranted hostility between the ships.
Said strife can lead to creating a more defensive mentality, particularly among smaller ships, that is difficult to break out of because of the fear of attack.
Its human psychology. You get attacked, you defend yourself. However, the attack will leave you more reserved and cautious.
If you decided to go down that path, I'd accept and respect your right to do so but I'd also be very disappointed.
