We know Arnold and Helga are the main couple to focus on in the series but we also know that Phoebe and Gerald, the best friends of the main characters, have a little something-something going on as well. Their relationship is casual and hardly a secret, which makes them awesome. If only we had an episode dedicated to those two.Related content

I also wish they had just kind of had an episode dedicated to the two of them. Maybe where they analyzed their friends or something. Or Gerald asks Phoebe out and they both seek their respective best buds for advice. XD
Like, Gerald thinking of how to try to really impress Phoebe instead of being himself (like Arnold advises him) and Helga trying to get Phoebe to really impress Gerald with some crazy scheme and Phoebe wanting to just be herself or something. I could see that happening.

I recall reading that Craig Bartlett said that Arnold and Helga were destined to have a troubled, off-again-on-again (but ultimately on) relationship, whereas Gerald and Phoebe's would be steady, comfortable, and largely angst-free. You can kind of tell.
