Ninokuni is about to come out, next friday more precisly.... I can't wait! This will probably be one of the most beautiful video games ever, gathering an awesome staff : Studio Ghibli, Level 5, and even Joe Hisaishi in charge of the soundtrack. Too much awesomeness
The publication of a new wonderful trailer ( [link] ) made me want to draw. And by the way, why not trying out a new method? This character (Oliver, from Ninokuni of course) is totally lineless except for the face. I based the exercice on this tutorial : [link] . I am sorry, I am experimenting so this drawing may be full of anatomy and color mistakes...

Il est super comme ça, l'attitude est très dynamique, on dirait qu'il sort de l'écran. J'adore la colo, surtout les cheveux -hhhghhnn *u*) mais aussi les teintes des ombres... Bon boulot, franchement, cette technique te réussit bien, surtout pour une première fois
Après, j'aime un peu moins le fond... Je trouve le dessin-croquis derrière un peu étrange avec la colorisation d'Oliver, ça se détache un peu trop. Je pense que le dessin juste avec Oliver et le dégradé violet aurait pu suffire. Enfin, ce n'est que mon avis, et j'aime beaucoup la symbolique derrière tout ça

Marci! :3 C'était bien amusant comme technique, j'espère que j'aurai l'occasion de m'y prêter de nouveau. Je comprends ton point de vue pour le fond, je ne savais pas trop comment l'arranger... Je voulais faire figurer ce dessin qui orne le logo du jeu d'une très jolie façon, mais il aurait pu être plus discret peut-être, effectivement. Merci pour ton avis! ; )

The game's already out here in America, and having played it, I can confirm that it is indeed one of the most beautiful video games ever.

Oooh, lucky you >w< Glad to have your opinion on the game! It's reassuring to know that I am not just excessively imaginative and would be disillusioned in the end
