ASAP."Some of the codex pages were about Altair making new weapons and cracking the Da Vinci Code, but other ones were entirely just Altair being sappy about his love life. And each one was apparently worth putting under individual armed guard 24/7 for hundreds of years. Even the one that was just a drawing of Altair's girlfriend, lmao.

I used to run around with a bucket on my head.

(Mom actually has a helmet in that style in the basement. As in, made of steel and meant for use. It's really heavy and I need padding to wear it and there's no field of vision. Why are templars so sharp with it on?! You can barely see or hear anything...

I have this thing where I should probably avoid balconies and great heights without walls between me and the air because all I can think about is what it would be like to jump off, and it gets me weak in the knees I get so absorbed with imagining it. Nothing suicidial, just what it would be like. I wrote a whole deviation on it.
My dad gets it too. It freaks him out so bad he avoids heights altogether. This is a guy with a blackbelt in Aikedo and no fear.
If that is not repressed Assassin genetic memories, I don't know what is.

i get those compulsions, too, but i don't avoid heights. it's kind of why i like roller coasters and kings island's eiffel tower so much. there's something keeping me in place-- either a belt buckle of some sort or a cage wall thing-- but i'm still reeeeeally high up.

(Ummmm, let's see, also: that robotics company is secretly churning out copies of the Animus? The documents she's writing may be the important templar memories of King St. Louis IX, but you won't know unless you use your Assassin skills to examine them.)
Hahaha, sorry, I'm being pretty silly. But think how cool that would be, having Templar and Assassin ancestors - then you could go in the Animus and find out everybody's secrets, pretty much.
I'd want to be a Templar - the world needs to be controlled for its own good, etc etc. That and I couldn't stomach just up and stabbing somebody.
