*om noms hand*From chapter 36 of ~caeria 's fic Pet Project :
"What else happened?" she asked, although she had a fairly good idea.
"Master had sheets in his hand. Master dropped them at Rink's feet. Told Rink to give Miss Hermione a message." Rink stopped there and Hermione forced herself to ask the next question. "What did he say?"
"Master said, 'Tell Miss Granger that whatever game she thought she was playing is over. Her services are no longer needed either.'"
And with that, Hermione's days as Professor Snape's clandestine House Elf come to an end...
I love this fic. Been following it for years, actually. I've been dreading him finding the enchanted sleeping sheets since like 2006... and we finally got to see his reaction in the latest chapter. Frustrating! The git makes me want to force him to listen to his own Critical Thinking Lessons.
This is the perfect mentor SS/HG story; I can't recommend it highly enough.

I just finished reading this fic and absolutely loved this chapter.
Your coloring on this is gorgeous, by the way. The shadows and slightly chalky feel to this make the image really fun to look at.
I also agree with many others who have commented that you've got the perfect balance of beakish nose but still fairly handsome older man going on. His expression is interesting too, but to me it doesn't hold the rage I was thinking of more as I was reading. In this he is sneering, but it looks like he is just so incredibly hurt and is trying to find the thing vile. I love it.

I've been following the fic too and I was sooo pissed by his reaction. Like what the hell Snape? The sheets are made to HELP YOU SLEEP, what do you think their going to do, eat you? XD I wanted to hop in the fic, slap him and say "Practice what you freaking preach you stupid git" but of course, that's impossible XD

I detested the pairing as well, but Pet Project is so incredibly well written and doesn't go leaping headlong into fangasms the way most romance fics do.
