The Octet Platform is a form of deployable turret of the Cycron Empire. It is a light turret, not very well armoured or shielded, but has plenty of firepower. Armed with one cannon, but with many variants carrying different weapons depending on the purpose or role intended during their deployment. Hovering in place they are quick to bring its weapon to bear when threatened or intercepting. They have been known to teleport itself to a new location to get a better position, otherwise it is mostly stationary.
