Ren! You have had a spy training her all this time? One of your Legenda Ignotum?...and you are narrating? So that is why we got a look into this world. Darkling has been sending these images to us.
Who is this? How does she get that power? Where is she? You created more questions than you answered with this reveal, my friend.
But...nicely done. This is like one of those payoffs in your other comics that takes forever to get to, but when it happens...my jaw drops.

This has the impact of seeing a Shadow vessel on Babylon 5. You see it and your brain is turned inside out for a long second.

Thanks. It is a jaw-dropping beautiful effect made with some wizardry that the Hollywood VFX artists use with layers and composition. Seeing her take form and dissolve into wisps of shadow out of nothing is just too freaking cool.
Darkling. A Shadeborn. her powers are laid out in Renventures 0.20. And one of the legends. Paradox could not even see her even if it tried its damn hardest.
Card played. Paradox and your evil minions...be afraid. Be very afraid.

I have my ways. Candy isn't safe by a long shot, but we have eyes on her. If Darkling tries to save her Paradox will probably take Candy's life. Similarly, Derica, if you are reading and I know you are, make sure you listen to Hunter and head to the island before you attempt a rescue.
This is a trap set by an evil weaver of fates and it needs to be untangled carefully.
