Yeah, Guile was very hard to play, it was such a nightmare to learn the timing to combo in his Flash Kick and Sonic Booms. But worth it.

My Story with Destiny's actually pretty funny.
I got the first one not long after it came out, finished the campaign and went...is...is that it?
I played some of the multiplayer, did some strikes, etc, and was just utterly disappointed by it. It looks incredible ( as do all Bungie games, to be fair)Plays amazing, gunplay mechanics and controls are just gorgeous, and still are, but there was nothing for me to do.
It wasnt until years later when a friend of mine got his PS4, which came with a copy of Destiny, and at his insistence, we booted it up again. It was only then that I really saw what it was. We started playing a little before Rise of Iron came out.
Once I came to understand that Destiny wasnt just a First Person Shooter, it was something else, I started to fall in love with it. I grinded that shit for hours to get those perfect rolls on the armor, the God Rolls on the guns.
I found random schlubs to go raiding with. Ah, good times.
Destiny 2 has really clarified a lot of the shortcomings of the first, Its a lot easier to actually understand what the fuck is really going on now, but the end game definitely needs improvement, and Bungie are listening. I've got high hopes for the future.
I'm really not fond of the loot system at the moment.
I'm 305LL, and my Legendary Engrams Decode at 298/299. Its random Blue Engrams from chests that drop at 300, and its just irritating.
Now if only they can buff Titans in the Crucible so that theyre even remotely competitive. Arc Titan pulse grenades aside, theyre fucking terrible in the current Meta Environment, and Im a Titan Main for life.
I thought about doing a rant in a journal about it, but I figured noone would give the slightest fuck about it lol
On a side and related note...Everything in my life points to that I should like Borderlands. But I hated it. Both of them. I do not understand it lol

OK, I might note you later for more on this, cuz I feel like this conversation is steering away from a good STREET FIGHTER pic, but I just have a few things to say.
First of all, I'M A TITAN. I got a tattoo of it on my back. TITAN 4 LIFE; FIST OF HAVOC 4EVA. Everyone could keep their ranger boners, but it's a TITAN'S Life for me!! I kinda like what they did to him in 2.
Second, I'll give you that. Destiny is fun shooting with friends. By yourself, you literally feel like you're playing with yourself. It's not fun after a while. But playing with a couple buddies, I will admit, is FuN on a BuN. So I'll give you that too.
But Lastly, HOW DARE YOU, BUDDY. How can you HATE Borderlands? That's, literally, what Destiny was supposed to be like. Except you CAN play with yourself, cuz of that badass story. And you CAN play with buddies, and it's just as fun! And finally, and this is coming from a purely stereotypical point of view from someone who's never been to Australia, but I felt like this is what it would be like in Wild West era Australia! The gritty survivalist lifestyle, the say-it-to-your-face locals, and the larger than life locales!! Ok, I might be romancing it up a little too much, but it's just WEIRD that you don't like this game!!! When I play it, I literally had a thought, 'I bet this is Vexed's favorite game' as I cleared out a Psycho Bandit nest with my own Psycho Badass (Krieg, he's hella fun to play (Borderlands2)).
Ah, the sorrow. But yeah. I'm a Titan, Destiny is fun with friends, and how dare you.

I loved the humor, I liked the story, but everything else just didnt do it for me. I'm willing to give it another go with Borderlands 3, hopefully with some mates, it becomes fun.

The creator actually said that the visual direction they were taking would eventually screw them, and in making B3, it did. They're trying to keep the cell shade look while using the SWEET new Unreal Engine. I just can't wait for it. While were talking about Gearbox (B Makers), you gonna try there new one coming out next year?

In some sort of strange Paradox, I despise the Nolan Trilogy. The villains where great, but Bales Batman, and Nolans Batman as a whole, was absolute fucking traaaaash.
In what movie isnt Mark Strong the best thing though? That bloke is a fucking powerhouse of brilliance. I watched a movie that had just him in it, as he went journeyed to Mars, and he carried it like a beast.

And what Mark Strong movie did he go to mars?!! What movie is this?!! I just saw that man fucking owning it in Revolver! I still have no idea what it was about, all I remember was that man assassinated another man just by looking at a security feed. Cuz that man is the REAL ROCKNROLLA!!! He was also good in The Guard with Brendan Gleeson. One more Mark Strong thing. Where you kinda rooting for him instead of Sherlock Holmes? I kinda was.
And feel you on Bioshock. That 3rd one was WAY overhyped, but I felt like it was lacking after I was done playing it. I liked the multiverse thing going on, but come on. And I liked 2. How could you not like 2?! You got to play a Big Daddy. A weak ass one, but one none the less! I thought you would like a cool dad game. The only other cool dad games are God of War and Dishonored. Both I love. Can't WAIT for Thor God of War. Looks amazing. Very reminiscent of the Lone Wolf and Cub feel.

Fuck Bale as Batman. I really like Bale, hes quite the actor, but his Batman was trash. Bane was so much more the Batman in that series. People hate it, but Batfleck is where its at, Hes everything Batman should be. But whatever.
The moie is called Approaching the Unknown, I really liked it, but you know, I like that kinda stuff. Its definitely not for everyone. He was also freaking tops in "We;come to the Punch" with James Mcavoy. That was a blast.
Great in the Kingsmen movies as Merlin too. And yes, I was rooting for Black, instead of Holmes. Holmes is a bit of a cunt haha

Im just talking about Uncharted 4 in general. Nadine Ross was just such a pandering fuck in my opinion. The player has no idea who she is, but shes a super baddass, easily able to fight Nate AND his brother simultaneously ( and win, every time) despite being half their size, and theres nothing that you, the player, can do about it.
Nevermind that we know Drake is capable against Giant God-Powered Russians Spetsnaz (And regular Russian Special Forces for that matter), This small woman is an unstoppable force!
Just...ugh, It felt so pandering and shitty, just didnt feel right for the franchise, especially when you compare the way they carefully developed the rest of the characters in the franchise.

The thing about all this nonsense with "the womyns in the vidya gamez!" is that its not that we have a problem with women in video games, fuck, noone does, its that the ones that are being pushed on gamers are so vapid, so shallow and rely on condescension and shaming. They dont stand on their own merits like they should. Theyre not unique or interesting, theyre just cut and paste equivalents of a male counterpart. They dont accomplish things for themselves, they just tear down something already accomplished or attributed to a male character and slap a vagina on it. Its nonsense, and the people calling that for what it is are just labeled Sexists or misogynists and shamed for it.
A big part, hell, probably the biggest part I love the Uncharted Franchise is because of how well those characters are written. Drakes cool! But without Elena? Chloe? He doesnt carry the game on his own, he needs the supporting cast, and they really do it.
How about Meryl from MGS4? She was fucking fantastic. Actually looked like she could kick the ever living piss out of people too, which was a pleasant change from the norm.

I could go on and on about Female characters in videogames that are strong, inspirational, well written and stand on their own, both good guys and bad, But I want to say this;
Have their been shitty female characters in video games? Ones that existed as tokens, or purely on sex appeal, or just been there as shallow, often irritating nuisances? Absolutely. But for every one of those forgetton Heroines, villainess's, or whatever, Theres been 100 of male ones.
Gaming, In my humble and experienced opinion, is the most inclusive "community" out there.

This guy, and his team, landed a deep space probe on a passing comet, traveling at an incomprehensible speed. The window of opportunity and success where so marginal that how they managed to do it is a testament to humanities ingenuity and determination.
