Contest entry for Armory66s SMG contest.The aim was to design a SMG with dual firing platforms, 2 magazines and 2 barrels. This is my entry.
The SMG is a heavy hitting .45 with single or full auto fire select. Double stacked magazine holds 35 rounds.
The second platform is a 25MM tactical grenade launcher that can fire varying types of grenade from a 4 round magazine.
The weapon is ideally suited for urban combat and tactical response teams who need huge firepower in a compact package.

Damn this thing would be NASTY! Four 25mm grenade rounds combined with 35 .45 ACP rounds? Nothing would survive against a kill team all armed with this, and in shooter games where at times you're taking on creatures larger and far more dangerous than humanoids, this would be a great equalizer!!

not enough games have the wonderful secondary fire option anymore lol. Its what made me fall in love with Killzone...then they took all the secondary fire modes away
Crysis2 was a hell of a game though, if only this little beast was in that xD

'Borderlands' is what I've gotten into recently, and having some guns fitted with secondary grenade launchers would be nice for 'anti-Skag' purposes, as Skags in that game have some natural front armor that makes them VERY bullet resistant if your level is lower than what you're facing. NOT GOOD when you come across 'badarse' ones that are higher level than you currently are.

Im playing fallout3 at the moment, apart from it being a buggy game, its rather awesome. Miss borderlands guns though lol

Fallout3's buggy because it runs on the game engine that powered 'Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion' and Oblivion was a pretty buggy game in and of itself despite how awesome it was.

Cheers mate...I reckon its a tad big for an SMG, but then again, the UMP.45 is pretty hefty for a SMG, and so is the Thompson haha.
