Another design I liked and I thought It'd be nice to make a PMG version of it xD
Cartridge: 5.56x45mm NATO
Action: Gas-operated, rotating bolt
Rate of fire: 1150 round/min 800round/min Rifle
Muzzle velocity: 2,950 ft/s
Effective range 300m (carbine) 600m (Rifle)
Feed system 20 Round Magazine. Or 150Round Drum.
The gun is mostly comprised of heavy duty composite plastics, and a special alloy barrel to keep it from melting under the intense heat generated from the fire rate.

wouldn't a 1150 cyclic rate smg have jamming problems? But My biggest concern is that the drum mag wouldn't feed fast enough for your gun.

I really like those mag designs. 1150 RPM is a crazy high rate of fire. It would probably benefit from an open bolt and heavy barrel, but that would turn it into a Squad Automatic Weapon. Still, I really like. ^^

Its like I said in the original I did, You'd have a damn hard time controlling it, but at close quarters, it would be formidable.

Close quarters, It would be almost unstoppable, firing an intermediate round and (hopefully) being lightweight and compact. For the rifle, I'd reduce the ROF to a more controllable 800 RPM. Just my opinion.
