Hailing from the Centauri system, the empire can best be seen as a more loosely organized association of tribal kingdoms, united in the interest of expanding the reach of their species and the wealth of their people. Already a few worlds have been brought to their knees before the Nine Nations of Centauri, and with every conquest, the ambition of the military and governments grows larger. Now, the fleets of the empire arrive at a small world known as Earth, ready for what it is expected to be a routine conquest. But as the ships descend into the jungles of Africa and the Mexican hills, a domino is knocked over, and the future set in stone for the Centauri people.
