This is very nice. I love pictures of pathways or trails. Maybe it's because they're metaphorical in a lot of ways. There is also a mystery here that makes you wonder what would happen if you followed this path.

The answer is yes. It's one of my favorite stories. So simple and yet tells the story of someone who overcame forces that were greater than her self. I am also a fan of the poem the "Divine Comedy", you may find some references in a few of my works related to that one too.
