The Renegade Agent of the Threshold - Cross!

DU HISTORY:
When the Thunder Force HQ was destroyed, Cross fought his arch-nemesis Knave to protect those still trapped at Ground Zero. His battle ended with severe injuries that caused him to lose the memories of his life. Despite this, he recovered enough physically to challenge the Dark God Omega, but he too became one of the many to disappear under the effects of the Genocide Wave. Upon reappearing, he continued his work as a member of the Thunder Force. After an encounter with his arch-nemesis Knave, Cross had been working with Wildman to discover the truth behind the Genocide Wave. After learning the truth and then saving the world from Omega once more in 2014, Cross was discharged from the Thunder Force for being part of Wildman's splinter team. Cross then became the second-in-command for Wildman's new team: the Renegades.

It was eventually discovered that one week before the first Renegades meeting, Cross was captured by his arch-nemesis Knave during the previously mentioned encounter. For two years, he was Knave's prisoner, allowing Knave to take on the mantle of Cross in an attempt to move his own schemes forward. He was finally rescued in December 2016, where he devoured Knave to ensure his enemy remained dead. It turned out that the Genocide Wave changed both him and Knave into agents of the Elder God Yog-Sothoth, a condition that he was training to resist before Knave captured him and began his plot to wake said creature. His name cleared, Cross was reinstated as the second-in-command of the Renegades.

During the invasion by the Otherworld, Cross regrouped with his team and learned of Corvus master plan: to use fellow Renegade member Eris as a weapon to destroy Earth while everyone else was preoccupied. Cross was able to use the assimilated memories of Knave to produce a miniature Genocide Wave Grenade to send Eris away from Earth. While they succeeded, both Eris and Spiers were lost, and Lizan left to her new home in space. Cross now works as a recognised independent hero with the assistance of Wildman.

When last mentioned by anybody, it was implied that he is the head of Project Avalon, a universe-spanning relocation project to stop people from being taken by the Genocide Wave.
