Your drawings are very good, but need more contrast. Use different pencils not only HB. Make it smooth or give it a skin texture [compare my drawings: 'Why?' and 'Jackie Chan'] - all depends on whose Your model. And be patient... really patient.

thanks for the pointers! yea having better contrast is something i'm hoping to get better at, thing is i don't just use HB, i do use up to 7B when i draw. but for some reason i just havent been able to get the darks really really dark :/ like the hair on the chinese girl. either i'm not pressing hard enough or i need better paper... also most drawings i have so far were done in at most 6 hours, so i can see what you mean by having patience
