An entry for 's crossover contest. I've been playing a bunch of Borderlands 2 lately so I decided to plop his characters into the world of Pandora.I've been experimenting with texture overlays, and the comic-styled inking from the Borderlands series was a good creative exercise. I'm also going to try to get into the habit of adding more details into my drawings. For a long time I've taken the animator's approach of simplifying character designs, but that mainly works best for animation and cartoony/mascot art rather than the type of work I do.

I don't know anything about Borderlands, but I love the look of this entry! The characters' poses are all so brilliant and full of life, and you put such wonderful details into their outfits and accessories. The colouring is really nicely done too - both the shading on the characters, and the way the lines in the background bring the focus onto the item they're all grabbing for. Very cool work!

Whoa dude this is super impressive! All their different poses and expressions are awesome and the way you've positioned them all so they're aiming for the focal point of the image is awesome too! Kai's look amuses me probably the most for some reason XD I really love the detailing in the outfits they have going on, the shading and textures are very nice too. Thank you so much for entering!

I was originally going to cram in Sam (or whoever that red panda guy was) but I just couldn't manage. Still, I'm glad you liked the composition on this one because it's one of my fav pics composition-wise.

Aw hahah dude I am amazed at how you dig up old characters, I am thinking of bringing Sam back actually! I always liked him despite only drawing him once. It really is fantastic, both in detail and composition. Absolutely loved it.

I've never played either Borderlands and I recognized the aesthetic you were going for right away.

I've only been playing Borderlands for a couple of months so I wasn't too familiar with it either. The game's art style was fun to imitate, though!
