Squeaky Clean Fox

About a year after Sonic had adopted Tails as his brother, Tails came home covered in dirt, oil, and mud as usual after working on the biplane.
"Looks like its time for another bath." Sonic said as Tails walked in the door. "Come on lil bro, into the tub."
"Aw come on Sonic!" Tails whined, he HATED baths, he LOVED being dirty, being covered in the oil and sweat that came from working on what he loves.
"Now Tails." Sonic said, getting impatient. Tails pouted and went into the bathroom where Sonic had already started the water, and took off his gloves, shoes, and socks. Sonic lifted up the little fox and set him in the water.
"HOT!" Yelped Tails.
"Oh don't be a baby." Sonic said grabbing the shampoo. He squirted some on his hand and started to scrub Tails' fur, as he scrubbed his body, the water in the tub turned dark a muddy as the dirt and oil mixed in the water. "Man Tails, did you get any of the oil IN the plane?"
"You know Sonic," Tails said as he shielded his eyes from the soap, "That line isn't very funny when you say it at every bath."
Sonic laughed. "Maybe not, but its fun for me to say!"
Tails sighed as Sonic continued to wash the dirt and oil out of his fur. Tails had to admit, as much as he liked being dirty, it did feel good to have his brother's hands scrub his fur. It reminded him that these same hands will protect him from anything, that these hands will help him, and support him when he needs them, that these are the hands of his big brother, and that he will never leave.
Tails hadn't realized that Sonic was already almost done, until he started scrubbing his feet, and then Tails let out a giggle.
"Ticklish are we?" Sonic said with a smirk. "Well take this!" He then started to tickle Tails mercilessly. Tails broke out into laughter.
"SONIC!" He gasped. "STOP! I CAN'T BREATH!" After a few minutes Sonic let up, and let Tails out of the tub. Sonic then started to dry off his little brother with a towel.
"Okay, now you go watch TV while I get dinner ready." Sonic said as he put Tails' gloves and shoes back on him.
"Chili dogs again?" Tails asked, knowing the answer.
"What am I that predictable?" Sonic said chuckling.
