Description
As a long timer reader of Gunnerkrigg Court comic, I wanted to present a fanart piece that the author, Tom Siddell, can personally enjoy and to demonstrate how inspiring and, ya know, unique story he shared with millions. I ain't counting and I don't think they are either.
From me to you guys, and also with all your advice from the rough draft, it wouldn't be so complete!--Yay on the DD!Β

I'm not sure why it never occurred to me that Gunnerkrigg Court fanart might be a thing, so THIS blew my mind in the best possible way. I think I just spent ten minutes going "omg dat Ysengrin", completely lost for words.

I dunno anything about Tom Siddell, so what's the little... fluffy thing by the girl? It looks like a fox or something, but it seems to have a squished face like an owl. It's cute either way, I'm just curious.

The forest is populated with mystical/mythical creatures of all kinds, and that one is just a random one that showed up in the comic this picture is based on. Give Gunnerkreigg Court a read- You will enjoy yourself.

Plants aren't easy at all after doing animals for so long. Yea, theres a pattern to it all, but its hard to organize the varieties and randomness it should be. lol
The light rays... I did with one try then I let the program's overlay do the work for me. :>

Eh hem: Good job! Its got everything but the big fat toad... cause you can't have a magic nature scene without one of those! Otherwise fills one with questions about the original series as a good fan-art should. ^_^Β

I actually thought about adding a frog/toad with mushrooms and other soggy things, but I was like... wounldn't that be uncomfortable to sit in, carver?
And I will.... inspect everyone and everything that comes my way. Eventaully. You have time to believe in yourself.

Um... just put the mushrooms under the toad alone. Dey like soggy tings. (assuming Carver is the lady pictured) Though some mushrooms have dry surfaces...Β
As strange as it sounds I wasn't able to do anything in the all of 4 minutes you gave me to "believe in myself". (rather vague anyway... does believing in my unsurpassable ability to FAIL count? XP ) But um, thanks... thanks for that... (I gotta stop commenting on things.)

Pfft 4 mins? More like you perked my curiousity and if you had anything to hide I would've found it. Β Hey if you can make it an art form to fail consistantly and not forceably, might be really fun. lol like testing new art materials or making accidental works. (Why stop commenting?
