Description Governor Tarkin trying and utterly failing to get on with little Princess Leia. The girl just won't listen to him despite all of his Erian (or Eriaduan, as they say off-planet) charm. Apparently, alternative methods of persuasion are going to be more preferrable for her as she grows up.

Cushing Fan, here. I find your Tarkin absolutely adorable. Peter Cushing as Tarkin is my favourite actor and character in ANH only equaled by Biggs Darklighter. I have always been drawn to Tarkin, he isn't nearly as horrible as most fans seem to think to me.

Can't say I blame her, Tarkin is one creepy dude.

That's how he rules through fear.)

In fact, innocent blue eyes do look unsettling on a well-known oppressor's face.)

Perhaps Leia shouldn't have been that hostile from the very beginning.)

I agree...Course I would have already spilled the beans about the rebel base already and fainted.

Then you would be fainting over and over again every time he tried to bring you back to consciousness. Time to get accustomed, you know.)))

Well...yes I probobly would by then...and then I would start shuddering...and then I would go insane.

I'm very weak in the face of especially a man who can kill people just by signing a paper...Though I could try to be nice and he'll be nice back...maybe...

ViaruTarkin In reply to Sahkmet [2007-10-14 13:59:49 +0000 UTC]

Well, killing by signing a paper doesn't take nearly as much cruelty as, for instance, killing by stabbing does.)

Hmm...I wonder what methods Tarkin uses? Threats, seduction...

ViaruTarkin In reply to Sahkmet [2007-10-14 18:21:31 +0000 UTC]

Both, undoubtedly. Threats - as a practical application of his rule-through-fear theory... and seduction - just because he can.)

I never actually believed in what they wrote in "Princess Leia's Diaries". Tarkin is far smarter than to make enemies with little girls out of pure arrogance.))

When I see this picture all I hear in my head is when Tarkin says, "In a way you determined to choice of the planet...that will be destroyed first. Since you are reluctant to provide us with the location of the rebel base, I have chosen to test this station's destructive power on your home planet of Allderaan."
You're ture about that.

The diary style of comics appeals to me, though. Recently I've been working on the first "entries" of Tarkin's journal that he kept since his early teens. To my mind, it's about then that he had his first ideas of ruling through fear rather than force.
