Description
Details here: [link]Finally finished... This is by far the biggest work I've done yet, and it represents something very important to me, but I also like to say that I want this to be a sort of a tribute to all artists out there, who like me, are looking for something. It might be anything from better skills, a job, or a cute little pug... how I want one...
Anyway, I really hope that you'll find what you are looking for!
I've found something while painting this. I now know how badly I need to better my anatomy, and perspective, and also how much I love painting steampunkish outfits and cogs.
Here's how the idea of this painting started about two years ago: [link]
YUCK... haha.
And to my watchers, I can't tell you guys how much I appreciate your support and encouragement. I wish I could give you all one fat group hug!
Thanks also cgtextures.com for the awesomeness textures!

Wow nice. Love the lighting, the reflections, and the way the crystals are done here. The gold and the ruby red really play well together off the blue atmospheric effects there. I get a real sense this is underwater, probably just because of those blues.
Also, nice steampunk vibe going overall - in her clothes, the gears, and the gold tones. I like how everything feels pulled together to make some kind of interesting world around the girl here.

Wow... You have evidently put so much time and effort into this. It's beautiful - not only because of the technique, the lighting, the detail, but because of what it means to you and to anyone who has watched your development. Gorgeous, gorgeous work - incredibly well done! And well done for picking yourself up and finding the will to succeed when you felt inadequate That is one of the hardest things to do *hugs*

This is just-
This is really one of your best and biggest work I must say. What I love the most is the transition from warm to cool colors, which makes the painting feel very real and it sets a distinctive mood.
All the elements look so real too, mainly because of the natural use of shadows and highlights. I really wish I could explore that world!

Oh my god this is so beautiful i can't even
The initial idea looks a whole lot different! But I love how it turned out.
The girl herself didn't catch my eye at first. It were the crystals (probably because I'm totally unable to draw ice or anything that reflects light a lot). Then all the mechanical surroundings. The chains hanging down from above. The hinted background and then I focused on the girl.
The look of anticipation in her face, her curiousity and how she is _about_ to touch the cog next to her but doesn't do it, it kind of lets you feel the cold metal under your own fingers. How she is holding the lamp and cautiously stepping forward ... you really caught a feeling here, dear.
I think that since I don't have any critic for you, I'll leave it to this XD

Aww... I love the meaning behind this picture. Even the old version looks wonderful though! This, of course, is very stunning because of the little details in the objects, it makes what she is looking for seem much more of a mystery.

γγγΌ means "incredible, impressive" etc, εθ means reference and γͺγγΎγ means "to become, to be" etc. I think They like your painting and it's inspiration to them is how I read it, but I'm only learning
