Finally finished... This is by far the biggest work I've done yet, and it represents something very important to me, but I also like to say that I want this to be a sort of a tribute to all artists out there, who like me, are looking for something. It might be anything from better skills, a job, or a cute little pug... how I want one...
Anyway, I really hope that you'll find what you are looking for!

I've found something while painting this. I now know how badly I need to better my anatomy, and perspective, and also how much I love painting steampunkish outfits and cogs.

the other one wasn't bad but thisone IS way better... only i miss that cute little robot clinging to her leg :-P love the outfit too. have you got any place where you get the inspiration for such things? cause i'm looking for a steam costume i can make...

You're not alone in missing it. It was cute. But it's surely hiding somewhere in there! No I don't have any specific place. I just think steampunk fashion: buckles, belts, boots, goggles, gold details, straps, corsets. That's about it!

The detail in this is mind-boggling, and you've managed to achieve such great depth of field! Great use of atmospheric perspective in the far parts of the background.

Trine is a PC adventure game, which setting is in a faerie-medieval world. One of the three characters you control is a mage, who can create gearbox-like shapes to overcome obstacles. Check it on youtube

I prefere this version much more than the previous one. It's not only a matter of technical skills or more interesting backgrond, or palette, but also I like more this new character since it shows a strong, curious women with personality.
The older one was pretty and sexier, but this new fits much better the description of an explorer.

Wow. O.O This is so beautiful. She is so beautiful and I love the lighting, very realistic. The concept is also so imaginative and unique. Looks like alot of hard work and details! Amazing! (also, if I were skinny enough to pull it off, I'd steal that outfit. XD love it)

She's gorgeous I've been hoping you would post this one Love the detail and the depth from the dials and chains in the foreground to the large structure pieces in the background. The shading and lighting are beautiful as well and i love the originality of the lantern and her costume. I like how your signature looks like it belongs on the gear too! Oh and dogs rule (pugs too)

beautiful work! it looks very 3d but also soft and painted. the background is extremely good, suggesting that she is in a small corner of a very large space.
