UPDATE: 8/8/13 - YES! This project is still open as of today. I am still collecting entries, no matter how late they are. Life does happen, and I got buried in work and classes...and I had been on an extended hiatus from dA. I do plan on being a bit more active, and continuing this collection!

I really wanted to make an emoticon project since I was inspired by the many that I saw on deviantART. Since there are a numerous amount on here, which have also been repeated endlessly, I really wanted to make sure my idea was not taken yet. (If it has, which I doubt...let me know!)

SO here we have our own Emoticoin Collection! Special thanks to !Hexdecagon for revamping the project name! Clever!

The idea is to make your own coin with an emoticon as the face of it. You can make up your own emoticon or use your current OC. There are currently only 80 coin slots but if this project goes well I may make another page.

This project is for all pixel artists out there, whether you are someone who has been doing this for years or, someone who has just started dabbling in emoticon art. This here is your chance to show off your work and to view other artists work as well for inspiration!

You can make it whatever currency you like but try and be realistic. (I know we have $1 coins but...I think $100 coins would be a bit much, no? I STAND CORRECTED! There is a $100 platinum coin...wow.) If you do not want a currency then do not put one!
Stay inside of the border & make sure your entry is transparent! (You may also alter the border color to fit with your coin's color.)
Make sure your coin is in a .png or .gif format ONLY!

Silver, copper and gold coins only.
