more fallout! let's talk about how much i love fallout: I. LOVE. IT.after making the fawkes plushie a few weeks ago i got to work on my next fallout 3 playthrough. i was trying to think up what my next plushie would be, and my husband had been mentioning for awhile that i should make a vault boy. i had the materials on hand i was just worried about his hair. it's very "sculpted" looking, and i wasn't sure how i would get that across.
vault boy here is pretty simple, he only took me about a day to put together and was a (relatively) stress free plushie to make. my favorite kind!

It's the BESSSSTT! It's a huge game with lots to do, so it can be a little overwhelming.

That's the best kind of game. I'm a huge Dragon Age fan, as well as ME, of course, but I've also reveled in games Oblivion, Resident Evil, Half-Life, Portal( <3 ) and... Lego. 
What's the basic Fallout game style? Anything like ME?

Fallout is made by Bethesda, who also made the Elder Scrolls series. If you're fond of that style of gameplay (and it sounds like you are!), then you should definitely give Fallout 3 a chance. (You can of course play the originals and New Vegas, but those aren't QUITE the same and not as good, to me.) I can tell you when I first played it I put about 6 hours into it, then stopped playing for... maybe a month? But when I gave it another shot O MAN, I couldn't stop!

I'll have to keep my eye out for it and see if I can get it on sale. I don't play games very often these days, but it's a great way to pass the time when my daughter's napping on me.

well most of it looks really good but the placement off the facial feature just looks waaay to low :/ it looks like his mouth is on his neck, and his eyes are were his cheeks should be + masssssiiive forehead

that's a good point! i thought about that while putting it together, but it was more important to me to have it match the characteristics of my other plushies (a very low, wide face) while still being recognizable.

hmmm well I don't think putting the face higher would influence the rest of your style much, though ofc if you prefer it this way that's fine ^^
