It could be argued that Jin actually appeared in 2 other episodes on top of her date with Zuko. She was in the tea shop when the Fire nation army entered Ba sing Se, and she might have been the elder daughter of the people the Gaang helped through the Serpent's Pass. She is the support character that made the strongest impression on me though, and that is why she came to mind for today's theme.

She saw him with Mai in one of the comics.
It was a pretty funny scene from what I heard.
It involved Mai teaching her how to throw Knifes ala William Tell with Zuko.

Meh...I judge her appearance in the first episode as a cameo...not an appearance. And I thought I read on Nick.com that said her family has been living in Ba Sing Se for a while....I don't know....I must look into that...
