this is an adopt batch for who gets first pick of the ponies, all the rest are up for adoption :3
though im posting it before they have chosen, their pick will count as an AB so feel free to put in your bids.
they're all inspired by different war themes and such. these ones are moreso based on jobs. they're also from #53 of the 100 theme pony challenge :3

#1 Lancaster (Aeroplane ) // Air force // British
he was originally based off the paratroopers from WW2, thus the cutie mark and the physical design. him and his fellow troops would be sent in ahead of the rest, dropping right into the middle of enemy territory. there's a high death rate to his squad but they're invaluable to the war effort. the clear out the enemy's big guns so the land troops can get off the beach.
his cutie mark was meant to represent a pony flying out through the night clouds, towards the battlefield.

#2 Outrider (the soldier that rides in front of the army to scout) // Scout // American
thanks to his dark, dappled markings he's very good at hiding in the shadows and gathering information on the locations of enemy troops, guns, tanks and trenches. his bag contains things like, maps, pens, compass, all those little knickknacks he needs for gathering info. he may even speak the same language as the enemy and listen to them while in the cover of the shadows to get even more information.
both the symbol on his bag and his cutie mark are based off the american air force star

#3 Anzac Dawn // WW1 Medic // Australian
Anzac (stand for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) and Dawn because the Australian military symbol (the cutie mark) is based on the rising sun.
hes a medic, as simply as that. you can decide what equipment he has on the other side. the bag has a white circle with the medic red cross. the things on his hip are bandages and he has another small medical bag with the cross on it beneath his wing. his helmet is WW1 standard issue. the medic is always on the front lines of the war, along with the troops, he's always there when someone gets injured, to try as had as he can to shave their life.

#4 Market Garden // WW2 Battle // German
Operation Market Garden was an unsuccessful allied attack on the Germans in WW2. it was fought in the Netherlands, the Americans sent in their paratroopers in hopes of forcing their way into Germany but got pushed back. i know its a bit of an oxymoron putting that name on a German troop but shush haha.
he has stick grenades on his belt there, they're a German style grenade, also known as a potato masher. he's wearing a military medal based on the Iron Cross. i was considering giving him a Nazi arm band for another nice pop of red but i decided it may be in bad taste? if the buyer is fine with it im more than happy to add it in haha. its the same reason he didnt have the swastika as a cutie mark, but i actually like the eagle better XD

#5 Static Vox // Radio Operator
Vox is the Latin word for voice and is a certain type of telecommunications tech. there's not really much to say about this to be honest, i had and idea and went with it, there didn't have any particular country or uniform base, other than the hat which i flogged from the paratroopers again. and whats with that red star? is it air force? or communist Russia? that's all up to you.

#6 Cable Runner // inspired by Enemy At the Gates
in some war time environments its essential to run cables from place to place in order to attach power and communications to a base, even to lay out a fuse for a demolition. often these cables have to be run through sniper infested territories. this takes a fast brave volunteer to lay down the cables and fix/replace them when they're broken.
though he's based on enemy at the gates the uniform and colours don't have a country theme. the helmet design is based off my Australian WW2 helmet but a few armies used similar designs. the country theme is all up to you.
now i couldn't think of a cutie mark for it so you get to request one when you buy the pony :3

im willing to hold a pony thats been won for up to a week if you KNOW you'll have the money/points by them

i MAY accept art/crafts, depending on your quality of art and such. im somewhat picky though, especially with crafts.

then of course, no stealing, no arguing, no trying to guilt trip someone into dropping out of the bidding.

you may add/remove accessories if you like (though with this batch id rather you didn't)

you may also chance the sex

some markings and main/tail can be changed a little. but not much. adding freckles and stuff like that is fine. also letting them grow out/cut/put up/let down the main/tail is okay as long as its the same style/colours as it was before

dont complain, im giving you a lot of freedom with them so shush
