Hey.. BIG HUGS and BIG thankyou for this. I always had trouble finding spirals in FE (unlike Tierazon where they pop out of the woodwork) and all the ones that I have found have been by chance. This was a great starting point for me to get straight into a basic spiral from where i can take off in any direction. I'm really pleased with the results so far and I'll be sure to post a thankyou when I put up the images.
Now I'll have to get me into that Bryce stuff - which looks REALLY good

Vicky, this is a great tutorial! Perfect for someone who wants to start learning fractals! FE was the main program I used to start learning fractals (Tierazon was the very first, but it's not free anymore and it's not as powerful as FE). I still use it today. It makes awesome fractals!!

This is the first tutorial that I have done with Fractals. Was easy to follow and love the result.
Definitely want to play with fractals some more. They are so interesting and intriguing.

Very well done Vicky. As a FE lover for years I am happy you to see this easy going entry tutorial.
I would only comment that as a first step I usually change the Color Palette to one of the three Variation pre-sets so the initial fractal comes a bit more visible.

Thank you! I didn't want to tell anyone about rendering or colors, a lot of people have told me they have used FE and couldn't even get a fractal started. So this is more or less a beginner's tutorial. I appreciate your input my friend!
