Stay strong, Japan. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I'm seriously crushed about the disasters that have recently hit Japan. It's heartbreaking....;( Not to mention other countries that were affected as well...;_;
I'm not able to donate actual money, but I urge anyone who can to help. If you can't donate at all, please help spread the awareness by drawing a picture or creating a group...or even start a donation at your school/job. Let's all do our best to help!
Even though I can't provide any money, I intend to start a food/necessity drive at my school. During my freshman year, my school did something similar to aid Haiti after it was hit with a massive earthquake, so I don't see any reason for us to refrain from doing the same thing again. The last drive was very successful, but the one I'll try to start must be even more successful--since there are far more casualties this time.
Alright, so about the picture...I wish it had turned out better, but at least it gets the point across. I really like the cherry blossoms and the wings. However, please note that I did not make this picture to get feedback; I made it to tell people my plans and hopefully encourage them to contribute to the healing of Japan. In the meantime, while I do my best to help, Japan will be at the very sop of my prayer list. I can only hope that some of you will take charge in your communities to help make a difference.

Thank you, and that's a good idea. However, I suggest that you don't stop at just making a picture; instead, I hope that you try to set up a food drive or something of the sort to aid Japan during their time of need.

The amount of things ih can to do help is limited because of my young age... but ih will most certainly try my best to find a way to help

Same here...I can't make online donations, which totally sucks. However, I'm actually going to suggest a donation program in my local anime/manga shop. I bet they'd be more than willing to help Japan during their time of need.

I understand what you mean. I only drew this picture to suggest ideas for others, as well as encouraging other people to step up and aid Japan. I know I can't do much, but on Monday I'm going to propose a food/necessary products drive for my school to participate. It isn't much, but every little bit helps. If my plan works, it will hopefully raise enough to at least make a slight difference. Do you have any more suggestions? I'm all ears, if you do; any ideas will be greatly considered and appreciated.

Hmmm... I'm also trying to find ways to raise money and donate... Maybe a bake sale? Still coming up with ideas... I kind of wish I drew well enough to do commissions.

Yes!!! Why do you need a credit card??? -_- I don't want to get one... I think I will try to help with some money raising opportunities on campus. I also don't really know how money transactions are made for commissions, but maybe I could draw for people at school. I always thought it would be fun to make a booth in the cafeteria and draw caricatures of people for money, like people do at the fair sometimes. I may look into doing something like that too... And yes, let's do our best!

It's very heartbreaking, that's for sure...and it's also frustrating, because not many people know how to help. Of course, helping Japan is very possible--food drives, car washes, and even selling t-shirts can help. Please do your best to aid Japan.
