Also, Y'all is strictly plural. The only acceptable use of "y'all" in the singular is when you're addressing a person who represents a group, e.g. thanking the cashier at a drive-thru window. That person's getting thanked on behalf of everybody else in the kitchen, so "y'all" would be appropriate.
The only Southern state I have ever known to get this consistently wrong is Texas. I'm from South Carolina, we were saying "y'all" before Texas was even a thing. Buncha hick wannabes, that state!

well I'm from neither so I wouldn't know. I guess just " ya' " would have been better then again i really don't care to much. As long as people smile at it and it makes at least one persons day a bit better then i could care less if I used "ya'll" wrong. Either way ill keep that in mind next time I have AJ talk in a comic or what not.
