one week ago my PC literally exploded and after buying a laptop I just had to draw again ..

It took 30 hrs. to draw and was a lot of fun!
Its inspired by star wars' trash planet Raxus Prime (especially by the game "The force Unleashed")

I love the concept of The Trash-Jedi-Temple and the whole trash-mountains around it ... I combined this awesome concept with podracing which is simply the coolest thing ever created !
Imagine a Podrace-game ! BEST THING EVER !

There actually have been a few podracing games, most recently in the Kinect Star Wars game. Many agree that the best one was the original for the Nintendo 64, though.

There is a pod-race game, but it's for nintendo-64. The really old one. It was pretty cool back in the day. I would love to play a new version though.

It's an "off the books" track, streetracing in a place no-one would care to look, and dangerous as hell too..Excellent artworks. Keep it up. More Pods!

oh, and dunno if you're aware of this, but there is/was a podrace game, for n64, ps2 i think, and pc. it is wicked fast, and still fun to play in spite of the old graphics.

Naah I still played on gameboy Normal thenn colour then win 98 pc and so on ... But I am quite happy because when I am older I cansay to my children : when I was at your age I only had a diskman, no mobile phone and a gameboy colour !...

They should totally remake the N64 Podracing game. And not change anything but the graphics, because it was excellent but sometimes you can't tell what you're looking at. I'd love to see a Raxus Prime track though... and maybe a Coruscant one. The old game has... Tatooine, Baroo, Ando Prime, Oovo V, Aquilaris... and I feel like I'm forgetting one, but that's most of them.
Aside from childhood nostalgia, this is a really cool piece. You can really feel the pod going by.

Well, I'd definitely buy it. Although I can see myself running into a hyperdrive or something and blowing myself up. God knows I can't win the Boonta Classic. I'd love to see your interpretations of more Podracing tracks, this is great. And I have no doubt you'll get into a game company if that's what you want to do.
I just played my dear old N64 a bit and the one I forgot was Mon Gazza. Sorry, that was just bothering the heck out of me.

Boonta Classic was the shit "! I remember us (me and mybrother) rying it over and over again but we finally beat it !
I think it was so hard for us because we were so little back then ... and yes I wouldlove to do more planets ..I will never get tired of drawing pods
... I would love Podracing on Felucia or coruscant..

I have been absolutely terrible at video games my whole life XD I have been trying to beat my brother since I was old enough to hold a controller, and I STILL haven't beaten any of his records. Boonta Classic was very hard, but I at least finished that one (8th place...). I remember the super hard ones on the last circuit, like an Oovo V track where asteroids come crashing down at you, I wouldn't even bother finishing. I'd make it through one lap in 10-15 minutes, and then call it quits. I stick to the first and second circuit tracks and play as Bullseye Navoir XD
Oooh, I can see a track on Felucia definitely, flying over the mushrooms and everything would be so much fun. Dodging rancors o.0 Or maybe Geonosis, and a go through the droid factory or gladiator rings?
I actually already have been watching you for a bit haha. After a quick look through your gallery, I think the first piece of yours I saw was "Desert Camp", so since January I guess.
