It's very rare to find a real-bird Phoenix that's drawn well. Normally, they're too over-the-top or ornamental. This is simplistically beautiful. Just the bird and the black.

This is an awesome design, with your permission, I would like to use this as a logo or as an image on the website for a domestic violence organisation I am on the management committee of you can view their site here: www.hdvsas.com We will be running recovery programs called "phoenix" groups so that victims of domestic violence can arise from the ashes of a violent/abusive relationship and take steps to rebuilding their life. I love how the contrast between the bird and the background seems to make the phoenix glow while the flowing lines almost give the impression of the flames moving.
