That low saturated vampire in the background that's coming out of the shadows is the creepiest thing you've drawn. Very nice!

haha. I've never seen the film. The main guy there in the foreground has quite the voluminous lashes.

Don't recommend the films, but basicly he was a big actor who was being groomed to be the next Christopher Lee. He was being paired with Vincent Price, and vincent price whom loves everyone said he was a jerk. But upon reading a lot of history it seemed it was the first big attempt at making a modern day vampire film which we now take for granted. But he had this horrible super slow mo rushing attack which he needed a running head start for.
He appeared in the Vincent Price film Dr Phibes Rises Again, but no explanation why he's immortal and turns to dust at the end. Bur reading it was suppose to be Count Yorga vs Dr Phibes. Apparently he's like a weird leading monster movie actor, he could be a Peter Cushing but something about him is pretty campy about him and doesn't have the charm like Vincent Price who can deliver a macabe joke while staying morbid. But see any of the Dr Phibes films, now those films make Saw look like for CHUMPS.

No idea who they are but they look great. Your rendering is great, especially on that guys face. Really like the figures coming out from the shadows too Victor

well it's basically an actor from the 70s whom Hammer Studios was trying to groom as the NEXT CHRISTOPHER LEE! It was a big push at the time at changing the industry because Legosi and Lee set this standard of "Old Fashion" Dracula and this was the big change in making a "Modern" Dracula taking place in modern day. Instead the film was as dull as a Friday the Thirteenth films instead of the BEAUTIFUL Atmosphere, Lighting, Sets, make up, costumes of those older Dracula films. Later they used the actor in other films, with slight hints he is count Yorga in Vincent Price films and other horror films, still hoping to make more of the series..... it's kinda a weird story about the film industry.

That's my new style of painting, I work from the shadows. I was debating about putting detail on the women, but then notice they looked awesome all ghost like. And I was inspired by your Fred Flintstones and wanted to just have a hannah barbera take on him as I was watching the film.

Nicely painted! Now you should draw him with the gimpy little hands and foot from the sequel poster!

"Evil will have it's finest hour WHEN THE GRAVE OPENS AND COUNT YORGA RETURNS TO WALK AMONG THE LIVING!"

actually that hand was in there at one point saying "Modern day vampire." Man the movies are HELLA Dull! And to think someone thought this guy was the next Christopher Lee. I mean Lee isn't handsome but at least he looks like he's BEATING THE SHIT OUT OF Enemies instead of SLOW MOTION RUNNING. So I had more fun if I imagined him more as a Flintstones style vampire.

have you started this after our little TF2 game? if yes, then you are a speed painter master.
