hmmm...calamity usually means trouble, destruction so...something bad happened...? ^^" so the person in the background is involved or has already seen one happen and it brings him sadness. i'm guessing the red in the picture eexpresses the blood shed involved...but i don't really understand the structure in the middle...><...does it represent what the cause of the calamity is? hmmm...
