Jesse stays at her house when he's banished to Earth by his mother. The queen has no idea about Zarzik so Jesse is still able to go to other realms just fine. Sophie is obsessed with fairy tales so she becomes obsessed with Jesse before she calms down after a few episodes. She may seem like an innocent little girl but her mother is a cop so she's been taught how to defend herself. She doesn't use martial arts but she carries pepper spray and knows where to shove her keys to incapacitate her would be attackers.
