Well, almost
Actually it was my favourite cartoon in my childhood and it was on TV right in the same time that i had to go to my music classes, so i was very pissed off about missing some episodes... And i have almost forgotten about Beetlejuice and now i somehow remembered Lidia and decided to draw her!I was very impressed by the world of this cartoon. In fact i'd like to have such a spooky friend like Beetlejuice But i don't like Lydia from the movie... She's older there...

Yes! It's the cartoon by Tim Burton, and it's much better than the movie (in my opinion), 'cause there are such well-made characters in it! And Lydia's about 10 years old, and she's funny but rather gothic, and beetlejuice's world's awesome, and there's Jinger-the-spider and French skeleton!!!.... I was very impressed by this cartoon in my childhood (as you can see), but i've never seen it after... That's sad...

12-14 to begin with, actually. She's in 7th grade in the first season, but back to her default movie age (16, I believe) by the final, fourth season. The show de-aged her for censorship reasons, because naturally, the show toned a lot of things down. Had the show been directly a continuation, instead of a continuation-spinoff, Lydia still would've been a depressingly suicide goth. But lucky for her, Beetlejuice--as much as being bound to him now due to the ring she wore may've grossed her out at first--"livened her spirits", as it were.
