You don't know your breeds very well. Border Collies can come in many colors more than just black and White. Ray is not a Sheltie.

It's really not. Shelties have much narrower faces.

And for future reference, when you tell someone that they don't even know what breed their OWN dog is, it can be pretty insulting. They know better than you about their own dog.

If you check out the other pics his nose really isn't longer than any regular Border Collies', unless you're only familiar with the show-bred Border Collies who have very different proportions than their working counterparts. My own Border Collies' nose is in fact longer and narrower than this one's but he is most definitely purebred. Looks nothing like a Sheltie.
You can google sable border collies, or click here for more different-colored Border Collies. Sable is actually not uncommon in the breed. [link]

okay, have never seen a border collie in that color, but dark brown, blue merle, red merle tricolor and the regular black and white.
His (or hers) nose and ears are longer than I've seen before on any bc's. His mane is much thicker and his drawings are wery sheltie-like. And he looks smaller.
But sorry then, I guess you should know for yourself what breed your dog is.
I have grown up with shelties, collies and border collies, and I have never seen a border collie that similar to a sheltie.
