Description I was looking for a wallpaper for a computer. I wanted a sort of screeshot from the movie Hackers. The scene where they're flying around the inside of the computer. I didn't find one so I had to use my basic 3d skills and make this.

Wow thats awesome!!! I have always wondered how to make transparent textures or make 1 color or it be translucent/parent. If you use Maya then please tell. Thats just soooo cool

Ooh I made that so long ago! I used 3dsmax but I imagine the "how" is the same in maya. All the text is a texture than a black and white version of that same texture is used for an opacity map. Hope that helps at all!

i love that movie
i thought of that scene as soon as i saw the thumbnail. great idea man.
the blocks look quite nice, although the could be a bit more glass-like.
but the rest of the image is really nice.

Haha!! Wow I love that scene/imagery in Hackers. An awesome movie overall :] and you've done a great job of recreating that sequence. Man, I'd be so happy if you did a fly through of this, hehe. But yeah.. looks sweet as hell

i was tihnking of doinf a flyby too. maybe when I get better 3d skills, and I make this again 10x better. THAN I'll do a high-res flyby

The first blocks are cool but i don't like that bright blue in the background... makes it looking like an 80's 8bit color... but i still like it, otherwise i wouldn't comment it...
