one of my MLP OCs. this is Quick Lance, the earth pony captain of the royal guard. he is a middle aged pony but still that does not make him weak, far from it. Quick Lance has mastered the strength magic of the earth pony and with it he can kick boulders as projectiles or break a oak tree in half. this captain of the royal guard takes his job very seriously, so he's the perfect pony if you want something done but not if you want a buddy to drink with after work as he has trouble getting out his "protector of justice" attitude and just relax.
because if his age and long experience in the royal guard,Celestia assigned him to train all new guards. one of these guards became a fellow captain and although Quick Lance respects Shining Armor strength and ability to make shield spells, he does not consider Shining Armor an equal as he still sees him as a whimsy colt.

Quick Lance's cutiemark is two spears crossed over one another, he got this mark when he protected his two younger siblings against a group of bullies and succeed making them back off without anyone getting hurt. he was designed after a Fjord horse, one of the very first horse breed I learned the name of.
