There was a journal entry I was going to write today but I was having a hard time with words, so I'm just gonna say a few things in the desc!!
Basically, life has been really up and down and I've been completely out of energy for a long time. Things got pretty bad for a while and I ended up going to a psych ward for some time to get my mental health better... And things have been going up after that (for example I am now a proud parent of two 6month old kittens, Mischief and Cottoncandy!! ;w ! For the first time in a long while I'm having energy to do things and see people and most importantly, DRAW STUFF!! I haven't been able to do that in a long time and for a moment I actually really despised the thought of drawing...

Anyway, I've been really wanting to make that thing happen where I find more people to help out with the species, because I do want to keep doing designs every now and then for it, but I don't have the resources to keep the species up to the level I'd like to all by myself... so expect a journal for that in the near future!! Can't say the details for it yet though because I haven't worked them out tho, but I have a lot of free time now that I can actually use so I'll try to do it asap. c: Also on my list of things is a completely new ref sheet and trait guide for fishlings, the one in my journal is completely outdated, and I also have some new ideas for it. ^^

I reaaally enjoyed doing these lineless designs, it kind of gave me more room to make changes easier?? Also it was fun to kind of reminisce about how fishlings looked like when I first created them: they had far shorter legs and chubbier bodies. Kinda feel like making all these different body type iterations different possibilities for fishlings, I don't like there being only 1 "common" body type... :,3 I really hope you guys like these, I fell in love with 2 and 6 but I gotta let them goooo, I really need to buy food and other things for my cats ;3;
