Lol it all started when made a journal about if we comment and show her our fancharacters, she will give a critique about the design of the fancharacter, and then I was like : "lol I'm gonna suggest Long lol" and then I got her feedback, I tried to look for the feedback, but I couldnt find it though, because it was quite a long time ago, but I still remember some of the things that she suggested, like to make his head more like his true form's head, and then she definitely mentioned about giving him a small neck, but when it comes to the body anatomy, i kinda forgot if she mentioned that too or not, maybe yes and maybe no??? o.o

anyway at first to be honest, I was a bit skeptical about long having a small neck and his true form head, but then I was like, : "Oh well, lets try it~!" and after I tried it by skething it out on a piece of paper ... O-O he ... actually looks cute! and kinda stronger, but that time i was a bit in a denial, like, "b-but I still like Long's old form D':" but I still played around with the design nonetheless, by starting to give him claws and make him barefooted (so yeah kinda combining the features of his Phantasia version a bit XD villyvalley16.deviantart.com/a…) and then I dealt with life a bit ...

but at time goes on, when I sometimes miss rosa and friends in the sonic universe for a bit, I dont know the details, but long story short I decided to draw the new design on photoshop and tweak his anatomy a little more, like buffing his arms a bit, change his shoes a bit to make it stronger looking (because round shoes doesn't really fit the design here, so that's why I gave it a sharp steel tip for some power), give him claws and finally remove his gloves because it would make sense if he has sharp claws, that is often used to shred things, cuz that means the gloves would be easily damaged, so thats why I removed them, and after I finished sketching the design, my reaction was like : o.o ... O.O WOW ...

WHO IS THIS HANDSOME DRAGON?! XD Is this my Long?!!!!!!

I was fangirling a bit because while the old form is kinda cute, this new form makes him look stronger and manly, just like how a power-type character and a dragon should be~!

and then I kinda head canoned this new form to be his second disguise, so after some adventure, Long finds out that his old form (his old design) is kinda a bit difficult to work with, so he tried to 'upgrade' his form by trying to change it several times, and finally, he managed to get a new form (new design) which is stronger and better than the old form. however this form costed him more stamina so he has tto use this new form wisely.

that was one of my headcanons, but the new design kinda grew on me so much that i am stating to consider this new form to be his definite main mobian form~!
