In my headcanon, Wally is not dead; he is either trapped in the speed force or his atoms are dispersed and simply need to be reassembled. Anyway, Nightwing manages to find him and he is reunited with the team and they throw this huge food party for him. A year or two later, Wally proposes to Artemis and they get married in Paris! Yay, *throws confetti :'D
Really though.. I just wanted a happy ending for spitfire but noo.. Wally just had to get some quick, very much avoidable demise.
Gah his death was totally unacceptable. 
About the art itself though.. This was originally meant for a commission I recieved to draw a design for a wedding invitation some months ago. The couple didn't want anything too fancy, but I busy with school then, and I really didn't want to mess up something that meant so much to the couple so I had to turn it down.. This is just an unfinished sketch that I decided to touch up on!

OH ANOTHER ONE WITH MY FRAME OF MIND! I do not except Endgame, I do not except it at all, and I will never. I loved Wally like he was a living relative, like my brother hell! Pissed me the hell off! Love this picture so much!
My own story has Wally's atom dispersed but my character uses her powers over technology and magic to bring him back from a dimensional disturbance. His hair has turned stark white and because of this becomes a brand new speedster hero of my own design. He and Artemis decide to stay hero's but get married and soon become parents.

Gorgeous art. I love Artemis's dress's design! Especially how it just flows out at the bottom.

COME ON! Why would they kill off Wally? I haven't seen any new episodes of Young Justice in what feels like forever, but they are such a cute couple. It is so beautiful-I've never seen Artemis dressing like a "girly" girl but the dress really looks good on her and they look so adorable together.

Beautiful work of art--I do enjoy it, although I find KF's mask a bit out of place. Still, a lovely piece.
Also, I can't read through all of the comments, but I'm hoping someone has informed others that in a lot of different play-offs of his powers, Wally does disappear like in YJ, but he is transported into another sort of dimension due to his speed. I know Blue B said that Wally would cease to exist, but I think that leaves a lot open for room to grow. Besides, do you think they'd really leave a whole other season open WITHOUT WALLY? XD

Wally (well the whole Flash family really) is a favorite of mine, and although I like the idea of Impulse taking over the Kid Flash uniform I do not like the way it happened.

yay thank you for that much needed happy ending. i was so disappionted with how they decided to end the series. but really how could they just so uncermoniously and so surprisingly kill Wally off like that. its just unbelievable.

I love how I was just browsing the popular 24hr list when I first logged on and immediately backtracked going, "Woah! Hold the phone!"
