This is absolutely something that I could seeΒ Magritte making. The whole composition is great, but that shallow sea overlap is stunning. It really adds to the surrealism. I think it's hard to pull off a window to another scene type piece that really blends together like you've done. And the change in angles/lighting in the frame is such an great addition. it gives an awesome mind bending feel of being a reflection of the foreground while clearly not being a reflection, and the cracks on the 'glass' only add to the mirror effect. Great job, I'll have to pick up a print of this. Definitely a museum quality pieceΒ
