Little rough draft I did of an idea I had for a comic strip about witcher 2. Tell me if you can get whats going on from the visuals. The joke is based on the doors in the game. When someone opens a door infront of you it just closes shut after them and you have to reopen it, and theres quite an unintentionally amusing sequence when you're running with Roche to go to a meeting and you have to go through a load of doors and he just slams them shut straight in your face the whole way there, which is what I'm trying to show here.Still rough (and wonky) but it's just a little gag comic, if people liked it i'd work on it more but if no one finds it funny there's no point
. Maybe someone else could think of a better way to get the point across.

Hahaha, so true! I don't know why, but usually I canΒ walk through the door with no problem... there's only one person who always is SO KIND to close the door for me - Roche!

In the Witcher 2 universe, giving a troll his wife's severed head is a thoughtful gesture instead of a sadistic one...and holding doors open for others is a social taboo.

haha cheers, I'm glad someone else found it funny too. Just had such a kind of slapstick timing to it the way he would just slam it in his face just as you was about to go through.

Ahh the amount of pain Geralt's face must have endured, he probably came out of the end of the game completely flat. XD
But I noticed that after patch 1.3 I could quickly swerve in through the doors after them, so maybe they've fixed it?

Yeah I'm playing it again too but choosing iorveths path this time, actually different enough to make it worth replaying aswell, tempted to play it on insane mode, but I think the quick time events are actually what's most likely to kill me.

Played it 3 times and got 2 endings so far, each time with different characters, but still the same ending :/

shame the ending was so poor though, by time i got to act 3 I thought I was at around the halfway point of the game and then it finished after like an hour and didn't mention anything about the wild hunt and all the other things that were talked about in the game. Was an excellent game though, if they had added 2 more chapters as long as 1and 2 would've been amazing.

Yeah.. the ending is a bit of a letdown, but only the first time. Go through a couple more times, try and see how many of the 16 endings you can find ^^
Talk with Letho, you'll hear quite a bit about the Wild Hunt.
And I'm sure there'll be a Witcher 3 in about 2-4 years time.
Regardless of the ending - I've never played a better game.
Hmm... there are modders out there, right?
What if some maniac went through and made the first game using The Witcher 2's engine, graphics, etc.?
Making XP harder to get, lest you reach Lv 33 halfway through Act III of the 5-or-6 there are XD

Whatever the ending is will be a letdown just because the game felt cut off short and tried to quickly tie up everything in a conversation with letho and apart from the dragon fight wasn't much going on. Still one of my favourite games ever though, and I really liked the first one too, game just has a great atmosphere about it.
Someone could mod the witcher yeah, but it's not THAT old that it needs remodelling but still I'd play it

Yeah.. I feel that it was rushed at the end as well..
I'm just saying, the first game, quests, story, characters, etc. done with The Witcher 2 engine, graphics, etc. it'd be fething epic ^^
