1, 8, 11, 13 are my favorites.
one thing I've wondered - how do you make those shadow ones?

Its just the default hard round brush on photoshop.

oh. thank you.
(is there a way to make something like that on paper? i apologize if that's a dumb question)

not a dumb question at all! I think the closet you could get to the photoshop version is to use markers. Prisma or copic, my personal favorites, are great for silhouettes. But you could even do it with watercolor, allowing the paint to make organic shapes with water.

yeah I was gonna suggest that haha. Well you can edit the photo and replace it right without it re-addressing people?

They're all great... although the second, third, and fourth-last really catch my eye. Are they the same creature?

they could be related in someway but I wouldnt say they are the same creature.

I like the split-legged one at the bottom with the large, the one left on the one with the triangle shaped top.

This is SO amazing. Where do you get your ideas?
I like all of them, but my favorites are the 5th and 6th of the first row. And the last one of the second. How about you?

where I get my ideas...couldn't give you an exact place because I have no idea. sometimes they are happy mistakes other times I'm using animal reference. It really just depends. With the silhouettes they were an organic process.

All have great potential, I'm particularly interested in how the creaturs in 3rd row: 1st, 4th, and 5th one down would turn out. They already got interesting forms.
Digging that flat, vaguely turtle-like physique of 1st row: 6th one down too.

Hard to pick a favorite, but the one that really catches my eye is in the second row and the fifth one down. Looks like a cross an elephant and a spinosaurus. Very interesting concepts

The 2nd on the 5th row would be my favorite. But i like them all, can't wait to see them in full color.
