Description
Blasting through enemy line with his mortar launcher, this guy has the most firepower in the Army of the Night.Done for RedStarryNight 's scifi writing project.

My critique will concentrate mostly on the negatives, as it is clear that in general, you draw well.
A few things that break the immersion of this picture for me (from what I interpret it is representing):
The first thing that catches my attention is the way the character is carrying the weapon with the left arm; putting weight on the wrist like that would cause terrible problems in the long run and no-one familiar with that weapon would carry it like so - the character does not look like someone new to what they are doing so it seems a bit off.
The second thing is the enviroments effect on the character; it seems to me that the enviroment has lots of flames and sparks, but I only see a little bit of that shining off of the character at the edges - the suit and the weapon have higlights caused by lighting but it seems none of that comes from the same orange-yellowy-red flames that surround the character. As contrast, the way the characters right shoulder reflects the reddish light is what I would assume to be seeing almost everywhere on the characer where we see highlights.
Lastly, here and there I see small batches of scrambly-blur with a little bit of color mixed in - I'm unsure what they represent; wavy bending of light due to the temperature difference of the air? Smoke? Either way, I think that part needs a little more attention.
Aside from these, I find the character to be believeable and having enough details to make it interesting.

THIS IS HARD CORE BAD ASS , i love the detail on the Launcher!, and his armour <3 Beautiful equipment <3
