Indeed a very interesting concept, especially since it's so pinpointing very recognizable concepts on DA: the llama rage and cat love. Which one is bigger on DA is a difficult question, but it's definitely true you shouldn't change your choice based on the fact which one is more popular. This makes this picture a very good DA themed allegory for the thought. Good work.

Its hard to critique cartoons like this one who takes so much stylization IMO.
What I can see its inde the llama costume the cat is really big with small '''hands'''. Its ears could have folded in a different manner, going towards us instead going down laterally. But then... It could be your choice when converting to cartoon.

You re welcome. I really wanted to be able t o help you with this more, but many of the decisions made by a cartoonist are to be considerated since they often look for a recognizable and unique style. Through there are some guidelines to make art more appealing in general like consistency on lines, symetry, better representation of shapes, etc. But even those can be broken by your will on this art.

These are really cute. I like the wash style background and your font choice. It might be nice to see some more painterly colors in your animals, to greater link them to the background.

I don't know what program you're using, but photoshop has some really basic brushes that would give the effect. They're what i use for Costume rendering, and lowering the paint opacity lets you layer colors in a pretty natural looking way.
