NEXT :Tiny hoofsteps echoed through the dark, crystalized, library.
"Big brother, I brought you some tea." Marigold said with a slight gleefull tone as she closed in on the only lightsource in the whole library, levitating a cup of tea above her head.
She could clearly see the dark silouhette of her brother only illuminated by the multple candles standing infront of him. He sat hunched over his bookstand, not so much as twitch to aknowledge her prescence.
"Inky?" She asked as she stopped only a few feet away from him.
She could hear him mumble something as he clearly tensed up, back still turned towards her.
"I couldn't hear-" Marigold started but was swiftly cut of as her brother suddenly spun around and stopped her right in her tracks.
"I have told you time and time again! I DO NOT WANT TO BE DISTURBED!!!" He yelled at her making her spill the tea in pure shock.

He does not care for any of his sisters. Love Letter is afraid of him and will try to avoid him. Marigold is quite the opposite allways wanting to help by bringing him stuff. Or just hanging around him asking what he's doing. Inkwell hates it. Marigold also keeps calling him "Big brother" and "Inky", both names which he despises, especially when their coming from her (If it where up to him he would decide that he didn't have any sisters).
Another reason for demanding being left alone is partly because of his research not always being very... "good" or even "legal", so the less nosy ponies the better.

and im thinking inkwell better be careful around love letter because she'll probably be big one day. characters who are mean tend to get punished some way or another. does he act this way towards any of the other kids?

He doesnt really act out towards anyone but marigold, sunburst and twilight. But thats just because those are the ones who constantly seek contact with him

Most of the other kids kinda keep their distance, the ones who knows most about his behaviour is Scarlet and Sulphur. Scarlet gets to hear things from her cousin who is friends with Love Letter and also talks a lot with Marigold.
Sulphur once tried to be friends with him when they where a lot younger yet he grew so bitter and angry that she couldn't deal with him anymore
