I caught the Steven Universe film and all I can say is I love the villain! Spinel was such a great character for me, the fact she's animated in the Rubber Hose style with quirks that call back to the original Mickey mouse and Fleischer Bros cartoons is an aesthetic treat for me! And well I won't spoil it, her back story hit pretty damn close to home for me and I could easily understand and sympathize with her even if she was the antagonist.
also spoiler warning the Villain song you gotta give it a listen to. even its a tribute to 20s era animation

I'm far more versatile than I let on with my art style capabilities XP I'm an adapt mimic just need the time and motivation/passion Spinel is a mix of Cal arts and Rubber hose styles both I know quite well I just don't use since its a little tricky to get the exact look I want
