I'm really excited about this one...Angemon is the first humanoid plush from the new, improved pattern I drafted from all of your suggestions! I decided to make his legs extra long and skinny in this case, because Angemon himself is pretty lanky. He stands about 18 inches tall.
Most of Angemon is fleece, though his face is microsuede. His wings are felt and light interfacing. They're poseable when they aren't in the wind ^__^;; (like these pictures haha ) His banners/loincloth is made from the most awesome blue knit fabric...I really need to find out exactly what it is!

Oh, nice! It does look like an improvement in general form. ; ) Oh man knits are one of my favorite materials since they have a good clothing-drape and they don't fray. x.x;;; hehe are those black button things safety eyes or stuffed toy eyes or whatever they're called? X D Those wings are so pretty...are they just glued around the interfacing or stitched without turning? I tried to make wings on a doll for myself once and turned the wings but the feathers ended up way rounded and those pointy ones look really nice. ^.^

Hahah thanks! and thanks again for the suggestion ^__^ knits are pretty much heaven IMO. The black buttons are actually just plain old buttons with a long shank. I just made tiny pinholes in his chest before I turned him rightside out, pushed the shank through from the inside and then sewed them to his chest internally so they would be more flush with the surface of his chest (did that make sense?) I probably could have used safety eyes now that you mention it, but I didn't think of that! (and I don't have any... >.> )
=3 I'm really proud of myself for the wings. I used iron-on interfacing, and ironed each piece of interfacing to one half of the wing, then top-stitched the other half of the wing on. (If you cant see in these pics, I didnt stitch all the way to the ends, I just free-handed a smaller wing pattern on there like secondary flight feathers. I can send you better pics if you wanna see). That's actually why I did it this way, to avoid rounded wingtips ^___^ and since I used light interfacing, they're poseable without being all gross and crunchy haha
