Great mask and clothes too! I did a phantom cosplay for carnaval (I don't think you also have that in your country, but it pretty much is dressing up and having a massive party, etc. mostly I only dress up and skip the rest (since the 'party' consists of bad music and a lot of booze)), and it wasn't nearly as good (but yeah, I just scurried some stuff together. I did do the scarryness under the mask too though, and freaked quite some people with it because that was the best looking part of my costume, haha ^_^)
And yes, I am a girl, and no I don't want to cosplay Christine. SHE is just a normal girl with a nice singing voice, while the phantom is immediately recognisable by his mask AND gives me the opportunity to try out some nice wound/scar gimmicks
