Amelia is the "star" of the "Invention of the Week" series. She's a former male (named Johnny) who became an anthro rat after an experiment gone awry. Rather than "fix" it, she just decided to live with it and keep on inventing. Also, you'll notice she has a blue highlight in her hair, a style choice she made and like. Her hair is quite long, and almost always tied up. Her inventions were used by many friends and she supplies them to various organizations and conventions in positive lights.
